Hiraal Lifecare

Diabetes

Your blood sugar, checked with breakfast.

A reading before you eat, one after, each tagged so it makes sense later. Hiraal Lifecare keeps them together and draws the week as a single line.

Most readings are taken and then lost.

A number is checked, remembered for a minute, and gone. Six months later, at an appointment, nobody can say what the last few weeks actually looked like.

Hiraal Lifecare fixes something small and specific: every reading gets somewhere to live, with the moment it was taken attached to it.

What the app does

Four things, done properly.

  • Every reading kept

Enter the number your meter shows, in mmol/L. It takes a few seconds and it is never lost.

  • Tagged by moment

Fasting. After breakfast. Before lunch. Each reading carries its context, so 6.8 after a meal is not mistaken for 6.8 before one.

  • A week at a glance

Your readings are drawn as one line for the week or the month, so a change is easy to notice.

  • Answered, not just stored

Each reading comes back with a word — in range, high or low — rather than as a bare number added to a list.

A moment, not an event

A check that fits the morning.

Sit down, take the reading, see the number. The film shows the whole of it — and how little of the morning it takes.

At your appointment

Something to show your doctor.

A few weeks of readings tell a doctor or nurse far more than a single measurement taken in the room. Hiraal Lifecare keeps yours together, tagged and in order, so you can show them what has actually been happening.

What your readings mean, and what to do about them, is a conversation for you and the clinician treating you. The app records; it does not advise.

What Hiraal Lifecare does not do

  • It does not diagnose diabetes, and it does not tell you whether you have it.
  • It does not treat diabetes, recommend medication, or change any dose.
  • It does not replace the advice of your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
  • It does not monitor you. Nobody is watching your readings for danger, so if you feel unwell, seek help directly.

If you feel unwell or think you may be having a medical emergency, do not use the app. Contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital straight away.
