Hiraal Lifecare
The Hiraal Lifecare blood pressure monitor and its upper-arm cuff.

Blood pressure and pulse

Blood pressure monitor

Both numbers and your pulse, at your own table.

An upper-arm monitor with a large, plain display and one button to press. It shows your systolic and diastolic pressure and your pulse, and it is made to be used on your own every morning.

Why we are making it

What this device is for.

  • Three numbers, one screen

Systolic, diastolic and pulse are shown together on a large dark display, in figures you can read from the sofa.

  • One button

A single START / STOP button. There is no menu to work through before a reading.

  • An upper-arm cuff

The grey cuff fits the upper arm, where a blood pressure reading is normally taken, and connects to the monitor with one tube.

  • Optional, always

The Hiraal Lifecare app is free and works with readings from any monitor. This one is a convenience, not a requirement.

Using it

How to take a reading.

General guidance only. Always follow the instructions supplied with your device and the advice of the clinician treating you.
  1. 01

    Sit and settle

Sit down, rest your back, keep both feet on the floor, and give yourself a few quiet minutes.

  2. 02

    Fit the cuff

Put the cuff on your upper arm over bare skin, and rest that arm on the table at about the height of your heart.

  3. 03

    Press START

Stay still and quiet while the cuff inflates and the reading appears.

  4. 04

    Record it

Open Hiraal Lifecare, tap Add Reading, and enter the three numbers the display shows.

With the app

Where the reading goes.

  • Enter the systolic, diastolic and pulse figures from the display.
  • The reading comes back answered — normal, high or low — not just stored.
  • The week is drawn as one line, and your recent readings sit underneath it.
The Hiraal Lifecare blood pressure screen: 120 over 80, marked Normal, with the week's readings drawn as a line.
